How old must my child be to join the class?
Our sessions are divided into two age groups. The primary classes are for ages 5- 11yrs and the pre-teen and teen classes are from 12-16 yrs. We adapt our classes to each age group.
What classes do you offer?
We offer Dance, Gymnastics and Fencing Sessions.
How do your sessions work?
Our programs are delivered over 10 weeks, 1-hour sessions per week. The students will take part in 45 minutes of physical activity and 15 minutes of mind-set coaching.
What is mind-set coaching?
Mind-set coaching is a talking therapy which helps individuals rewire the way they think. It allows individuals to grow and recognise their full potential. A mind- set coach helps individuals to overcome negative thoughts; a wrong way of thinking, and work on embracing and envisioning a positive way of thinking that will help them overcome obstacles and accomplish desired goals.
How much does one session cost?
£5.50 a session or £55 for the term.
Will my child be in a class with others?
Yes, the child will be with another group of children. The sizes of the group vary from each sport but it is usually 20 children in gymnastics and dance and 12 children in fencing.
Where do I go if i want to sign my child up for a session?
To sign up for classes fill out our contact form, we will then contact you via email. We will ask for the location and child’s age to find a suitable time and session.
My child has never danced before can she still join?
Yes, all our sessions are at a general level and an introduction to the sport. However the level of difficulty increases across each term making sessions challenging but not unattainable.
Can I try out a class before joining?
If a school would like to work with us, we offer free taster sessions; for parents and individuals we have taster sessions on our YouTube channel. (UDATv)
If my child doesn’t like the class can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we can not offer refunds. However we may consider it under exceptional circumstances.
Can you teach at my child’s school?
Yes, please fill out our contact form stating your child’s school, address and a contact for the school. We will contact the school and let them know we have had interest from one of their parents.
Do sessions run in schools only?
Our programs are mainly taught in schools as part of extra curriculum activities, however we do have some community sessions and out of school clubs.
